NymVPN gets a facelift: New UI design, ad blocker (beta) for iOS, and a lot more

Nym is proud to reveal a brand new look for NymVPN: new, simpler UI, an upgraded color palette, and new designs. All the complexity is still there for you to customize your privacy, but with a streamlined and simplified presentation to make the app more accessible for everyone.

NymVPN v2026.9 also introduces:

Ad blocker (beta) for iOS
Post-quantum keys now default on all Fast Mode connections
New toggle for Stealth API Connect to expedite connection
NymVPN v.3.5.0 now live on F-Droid!

Big news: The Nym Referral Program is live!

Nym has also launched its Referral Program. NymVPN users can now earn $NYM token rewards, free gift passes, and some cool privacy stuff in this season of the Nym Squad League.

NymVPN gets a new look

NymVPN UI changes include:

New toggle design for Fast and Mixnet modes
Simplified entry and exit server selection
Collapsable menu
Features and Settings reorganized
New color palette
New Connection display
Streamlined onboarding flow
New widgets for macOS and iOS

Ad blocker (beta) for iOS

Blocking ads is actually a VPN superpower when it comes to privacy: ads often function as spyware to track your behaviour across web sessions. NymVPN can now be a first line of defense.

Nym’s new beta ad blocker is now available on iOS as well as all other platforms. You can toggle it on in Settings. We’re seeing up to 92% of ads blocked on our tests.

Infra improvements

Post-quantum keys

Post-quantum keys are now out of beta testing and default for all connections on the Fast mode. This means there is no more toggle, and your secure key exchange process is always used and protected from post-quantum threats.

Stealth API mode

We have now added a toggle to Stealth API Connect so you can decide when to use it and help expedite connections in less-restrictive environments.

Toggling it on will always protect Nym network connections, while toggling off will use the mode only when normal connections fail.

NymVPN now up-to-date on F-Droid

The dev team has worked hard in the past weeks to meet F-Droid’s build requirements, and we’re thrilled to say that the v3.5.0 app is now live on F-Droid. Download it here.
