Following our new weekly release schedule, new versions of the Nym software have now been released.

As always you can download the latest version of the interfaces and components from the Nym website. Nym software is open source, unpermissioned and can be forked by anyone wishing to extend functionality.

What’s new in Nym platform v1.1.2?

Mix nodes can now use the CLI tool to declare families if they are run by the same organisation. Read instructions here. When an operator declares a mix node family, all the nodes from that family will be put in the same layer for privacy and security reasons. You should only create multiple nodes and put them in a family if your initial mix node is over saturated.
Initial zk-nym (Coconut) functionality including credentials and distributed key generation!

What’s new in NymConnect v1.1.2?

We have fixed the error with the client where it would fail and disconnect unnecessarily.

What’s new in the Nym Wallet v1.1.2?

Users can now buy NYM tokens directly from the wallet.

The service is provided by our partner Bity and can be accessed in the wallet under a new section called Buy as shown below. The purchase limit is 1,000 Swiss Francs per day and you can use BTC for purchase.

Please note this feature is not available to users in the United States.
